DL Chicken and Pepino’s Spaghetti House are colliding once more for a mouthwatering encore of the Hot Chicken Pizza.
This flavour-packed masterpiece is back by popular demand for one week only, starting this National Pizza Day, February 9, through February 16, 2024.
Who’s Behind The Magic?
DL Chicken, co-owned by Doug Stephen and Lindsey Mann, has been setting Vancouver’s chicken scene ablaze since 2018 with their Nashville-inspired hot chicken.
You’ll see them on at the top of every Vancouver fried chicken list!
On the other hand, Pepino’s Spaghetti House keeps the spirit of Little Italy strong on Commercial Drive, serving classic Italian fare in a space once home to the legendary Nick’s Spaghetti House.
A Match Made in Culinary Heaven
This isn’t just any pizza; it’s a Detroit-style deep dish marvel with a thiccc, crispy caramelized crust, Pepino’s house made dough, Pecorino Romano, and Grana Padano cheeses, topped with tender, spice-kissed chicken thigh nuggets, tangy bread ‘n butter pickles, and a drizzle of DL’s signature sauce. Yum!
The Hot Chicken Pizza was born out of camaraderie and innovation during the challenging times of the pandemic.
It symbolizes a delicious testament to the power of community and collaboration in Vancouver’s vibrant food scene.
At $45 a pop, you can also grab a 2L Coke combo or go all out with a limited-edition Pepino’s x DL Chicken tee.
The Hot Chicken Pizza is only available at Pepino’s for take out or dine-in.
Pre-order for takeout starts February 9 online, with dine-in reservations open for the taking from Feb 9 – 16.
