Downtown Vancouver just got a little cozier and a lot more delicious!
Nook, the beloved local Italian spot known for its house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and neighbourhood charm, has officially opened its newest outpost at The Stack in Coal Harbour.
We first reported the expansion back in May 2024, but as of July 30, the team behind Nook has officially opened the doors.
Located on the ground floor of The Stack – B.C.’s tallest office tower – the new space blends Nook’s signature warmth with sleek, modern design touches.
Think red leather booths, a glowing central bar, and an open kitchen that lets you watch the magic happen.

There’s also a covered patio out front, perfect for downtown people-watching while sipping a spritz.
The restaurant seats 107 inside, plus 32 on the patio.
As for the food?
The menu includes all your Nook faves like their classic pizzas and pastas, along with some Coal Harbour-exclusive dishes.
Highlights include the smoky Stuzzico Dip with fire-roasted eggplant and sweet peppers, the Roasted Half Chicken with olives and preserved lemon, and a fresh Caesar topped with baked pecorino wafers.
For dessert, the Pistachio Parfait delivers with shortbread crumble, mint, and passionfruit.
Drinks also got an upgrade.
Expect Italian wines (and a few hand-picked surprises), alongside a mix of cocktails like their signature El Popo (a spicy margarita remix) plus summer-ready sippers like the Limoncello Spritz and the always-reliable Paper Plane.
“We believe that neighbourhoods are better with a Nook,” said Benjamin Cooney of Nook Restaurants.
“With this location we wanted to create a space where people in Coal Harbour – whether they live here, work nearby, or are just visiting – can connect, relax, and share great food and drink. We’re excited to meet our new neighbours and future regulars.”
This marks Nook’s sixth location (not counting its seafood-forward sister spot Oddfish).
Other outposts include Kitsilano, Olympic Village, North Vancouver’s Shipyards, and the West End – where it all began in 2009.
Nook Coal Harbour is now open daily for lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
It now joins a list of newly opened food spots in Vancouver like Noople, Yum Yai, and Rumble Fish.
