One of downtown Vancouver’s best-kept coffee secrets is out in the open.
Guffo Cafe, previously known for its tiny “hidden gem” location near the Sinclair Centre, has quietly launched its second outpost.
We walked by the new spot on Robson Street earlier this month and found the doors open and the espresso machine running.
Interestingly, the team hasn’t even made an announcement on their social media yet.
If you haven’t been to the original, it built a loyal following (and a 4.8-star rating) for being a cozy, “secret little room” in the financial district.
This new location at 155 Robson Street is a significant upgrade in visibility.

Taking over the former Titanium Studio space at Hotel BLU, the new cafe feels far more spacious and airy.
The interior design is distinct and warm.
It features a striking back wall covered in star-patterned tiles that gives the space a retro-European feel.
Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light, highlighting the greenery and the signature parrot logo hanging outside.
The food offerings have also expanded.

The glass display case is stocked with intricate pastries, including cube croissants, pistachio spirals, and cannolis.
For lunch, they have a dedicated section for grab-and-go sandwiches, featuring options like Pesto Veggie and Egg Salad packed in neat boxes.
The drink menu remains extensive, listing everything from Cortaditos to Coconut Oat Peach Matcha.
This quiet opening adds another strong option to the Robson corridor.
Guffo Cafe joins a list of recently opened spots in the city, including Onigiri-ya Downtown, Slo Coffee Granville, and Goldie’s Fraser.
