Advice for Consumers

If you have these eggs in your kitchen, do not consume them!

It’s crucial to either throw them out or return them to where you bought them.

Although Salmonella might not affect the egg’s appearance or smell, it can still pose serious health risks.

Symptoms for a healthy individual might include fever, nausea, and abdominal cramps, while vulnerable groups might face more severe consequences.

Currently, there have been no official reported illnesses linked to these products, but we have seen some individuals on social media suspect that their recent sickness is potentially from eggs.

It is best to keep cautious regardless.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is actively investigating and ensuring that contaminated products are being removed from the market to keep our communities safe.
