Heads up, Gastown locals and sports fans!
The Cordova Bar & Restaurant shared on May 27th that they closing its doors for good on May 30th.
Located on the ground floor of the historic Gastown Woodward’s Building, The Cordova has been a spot for sports enthusiasts looking to catch the big game while sipping on their fav drinks.
The Cordova opened in June 2023 and took over the previous GPO Bar and Kitchen.
Not just a spot for drinks, The Cordova also served up delicious eats from BRGR BRGR, a burger brand known for its presence in Chilliwack and Abbotsford.
While it’s always tough to say goodbye, The Cordova isn’t going out without a toast.
To celebrate the good times, they’re offering $5 drinks all day on their last two days, May 29th and 30th.
It’s a chance for everyone who’s ever stopped by to raise one last glass to this beloved bar.
The space won’t stay empty for long, though.
In their farewell announcement, The Cordova’s team said they are excited about what’s coming next and promises to keep the community posted.
Something new and exciting is set to take over the space, promising to bring a fresh vibe to the iconic location.
