Vancouverites – a new gem is in the works!
Good Thief is the newest project by the brother-sister duo, Vincent and Amélie Nguyễn, of the beloved MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand Vietnamese eatery Anh and Chi.
Born to Vietnamese refugees and raised in East Vancouver, Vincent and Amélie have always aimed to push the boundaries of Vietnamese cuisine, blending tradition with innovation.
Its long lines and various accolades are evident of Anh and Chi being one of the tops in Vietnamese food in Vancouver.
Now, with Good Thief, they’re set to redefine everything you know about Vietnamese cuisine “through adventurous and unexpected culinary journeys.”
This project is a culmination of our lifelong passion and a bold complement to Anh and Chi. We believe it celebrates our heritage in a way that’s never been seen before

The name itself is a playful nod to the inspiration they’ll be taking from their heritage.
If Anh and Chi’s success is anything to go by, Good Thief will likely be a place where every element, from decor to dish presentation, is carefully thought through.
And judging from the released photos, expect some unique drinks in an equally warm ambiance!
Good Thief will be opening right beside Anh and Chi this year.
Finer details of its decor, menu, and opening date have yet to be announced, but we’ll let you know when we know!
