After a lengthy delay, Hello Nori is finally ready to welcome guests their new Amazing Brentwood outpost this weekend on Feb 10th!
This will be the brand’s second completed location since it started in 2021, with two more locations already in the works.
Since its inception, Hello Nori has captivated diners with its innovative approach to sushi.
The magic happens at a U-shaped bar, where guests can watch as their crispy hand rolls – featuring warm rice and the freshest ingredients, all sustainably sourced – are prepared to order.
All while ensuring a meal that’s not only delicious but also a visual and interactive experience.
Hello Nori is a passion project by owner Jean-François Eap’s vision, who is a newcomer to the hospitality scene but has a background in retail and tech industry.
At the heart of Hello Nori’s philosophy is a commitment to honoring Japanese culinary traditions while embracing the bounty of Vancouver’s local seafood and produce.
The new 1841 sq.ft 24-seater Brentwood outpost will deliver the same menu and dining experience that made the Robson location a hit.
However, the theme of the new Brentwood location will differ from the Robson one.
Hello Nori told Noms Magazine: “Our interior is inspired by the Japanese notion of wabi-sabi and Western modernism, where a combination of natural materials like wood, metal, and concrete are skillfully blended to reflect mountain-scapes at Hello Nori Brentwood and echo Vancouver’s extraordinary fusion of urban architecture and rugged surroundings.”
They also informed us that there will be special promotions will be occurring on the grand opening day to celebrate the new location.

This expansion marks an exciting new chapter for Hello Nori, with plans already underway for two more locations in Richmond Centre and Park Royal.
