The popular hot pot chain that already has two Richmond locations and two on Robson Street is not done yet.
Yep – Big Way is expanding YET AGAIN.
Multiple Noms Mag community members have spotted Big Way Hot Pot signage up at CF Richmond Centre’s new Park Road development, right beside the upcoming Marugame Udon.
According to the signage, this location is set to open in early 2026, which means it could be just within the next few months.
This will be Big Way’s third Richmond location, joining its existing outposts on No. 3 Road and Ackroyd Road and making Richmond one of the brand’s densest markets in Metro Vancouver.
With a third Robson Street location also in the works at the former Halal Guys unit.
The brand is building toward three locations in two different cities at the same time.
With Big Way now in the mix, CF Richmond Centre’s Park Road development has four announced food tenants: Breka Bakery, Marugame Udon, Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba, and Big Way Hot Pot.
That is a seriously stacked lineup for a development area that is still taking shape.
For anyone not familiar with the brand, Big Way is the self-serve malatang chain where you grab a bowl, load it up from a wall of over 100 fresh ingredients, choose from 10 soup bases, including their signature mala broth and collagen bone broth, and pay by weight.
Each customer gets their own individual pot, which made the format especially popular when the brand first launched on Kingsway in Burnaby back in 2021.
It has since grown to over 20 locations across Metro Vancouver, Toronto, and California, with every location company-owned and no franchising.
The brand shows no signs of slowing down.
This Richmond Centre location also adds to a growing wave of new food spots opening across Richmond right now, including One Cafe at Lansdowne Centre, Loon Fong Hotpot, and Horin Ramen.
