There’s nothing better than seeing a beloved mom-and-pop shop expand!
Richmond folks – get ready for some exciting news!
Sushi Lovers, the local family-run gem for fresh sushi rolls, sashimi birthday cakes (yes this is real) and bento boxes, is opening a new location near Richmond Centre.
Known for its quality eats and reasonable prices, Sushi Lovers has been a local fave since it opened in 2018.
Plus it is well loved by families because of their adorable kids meals.
The husband-and-wife duo behind the restaurant has built a loyal following, and this expansion is proof of their continued success.
We spotted coming soon signs of the new Sushi Lovers outpost at the One Park building, just steps from IHOP and across from CF Richmond Centre.
According to our friends at Richmond News – who beat us in this discovery – this outpost will be nearly three times the size of their current Blundell location and will seat four times as many guests.
Yup—that’s a whole lot more space for your sushi cravings!
Richmond News also shared that the location is slated to open sometime in April 2025.
The new location will be part of a growing foodie hub in the One Park building, joining other anticipated spots like Hui Lau Shan and Sungiven Foods.
For central Richmond residents, this news means no more trekking down to Blundell for their Sushi Lovers fix and not having to fight for one of those 10 seats in the restaurant.
