It looks like one of Vancouverโs popular neighbourhood grocery market is expanding!
We spotted signage for Be Fresh Market going up at The Raven, a new Westbank development along Alma Street across from Joโs Italian Deli.
This will be the brandโs second location, though no official announcement has been made by Be Fresh just yet.
Be Fresh first opened back in 2015 on West 1st Avenue in Kitsilano, offering a mix of local produce, pantry staples, and a mini cafรฉ known for its $2 Americanos brewed with their own beans.
Since then, it has become a go-to for locals looking for organic and thoughtfully sourced groceries, as well as quick meals made with sustainable ingredients.
Earlier this year, the market even went viral for its banana bread matcha, putting its cafรฉ program in the spotlight.
The philosophy behind Be Fresh is rooted in the idea that food should nourish both body and community.
Backed by SPUD, the shop works closely with local farmers, ranchers, and artisans to stock fresh produce, meats, and baked goods while also supporting sustainable practices.
The brand has since expanded with Organic Acres, a sister market on Main Street, and continues to grow its meal prep and retail operations throughout Vancouver.
The new Kitsilano space will put Be Fresh alongside other grocers expanding in the area, including Fresh St. Marketโs upcoming West 4th location.
For locals, that means even more options for fresh produce, organic goods, and easy everyday meals without leaving the neighborhood.
Will you be stopping by Be Freshโs newest shop when it opens?
