It looks like Davie Village is about to get a caffeine upgrade, and your wallet might actually thank you.
We spotted signs for TheVenti, a South Korean coffee chain, going up at the former Prinkle Chicken unit along Davie Street.
If you are not familiar with the brand, here is the quick version.

TheVenti was founded in Busan back in 2014 with one simple promise: quality coffee that does not cost you $8.
That formula clearly worked because the chain now has over 1,300 locations across South Korea.
In 2025, the brand made its way to Canada, starting with a Richmond location in March.
That was followed by openings in Coquitlam, Downtown Vancouver and North Road.
This Davie Street spot marks the brand’s fifth location in BC and its second Downtown Vancouver unit.
The first Downtown location is over on Dunsmuir Street.

So what exactly can you expect?
TheVenti has built its reputation around oversized drinks and wallet-friendly prices.
We are talking iced lattes, Americanos, and fruit-based drinks that typically ring in around $4.
That is the kind of pricing that feels almost nostalgic at this point.
But it is not just your standard espresso menu.

The brand leans into uniquely Korean offerings that you will not find at most coffee shops in the city.
There is the nutty Misugaru latte, made with a traditional Korean multigrain powder, and the roasted Yulmu latte for something warm and earthy.
The look will likely be consistent across their stores: bright white interiors accented with splashes of TheVenti’s signature purple.
Two self-ordering kiosks greet you at the door, keeping the line moving fast.

Seating is also likely to be minimal, which reinforces the chain’s grab-and-go approach.
There is no official opening date yet, so we will have to keep an eye on the space.
TheVenti Davie now joins a growing list of upcoming food spots around the city, including Khaosan Street Food, Goldie’s Kitsilano, and VanSuya.
