A Popular Korean Donut Shop Soft Opens New Kitsilano Location

It did not take long for Goldie’s to make its next move.

A Noms Magazine community member (vanfoodieparents) spotted signs going up for Goldie’s Donut & Bakery on West 4th just last week, and now they also found the doors open.

This marks their second Vancouver location.

If you missed our earlier report, Goldie’s specializes in Korean-style cream filled brioche donuts that are soft, pillowy, and packed with generous swirls of flavoured cream.

The brand originally started in Korea before expanding to North America, with its first Canadian location opening in Horseshoe Bay back in 2024.

Langley followed shortly after, and then their first Vancouver location landed on Fraser Street in December 2025.

Now, just a couple of months later, they are already open in Kitsilano.

The new space sits in the former Gobble unit along West 4th, and the interior mirrors the warm, cozy vibe of their other locations.

A lot of light wood tones everywhere, from the communal tables and chairs to the display cases and wall paneling.

It is the kind of clean, minimal Korean cafe aesthetic that makes you want to sit down and lounge for a while.

The display cases were already stocked with rows of their signature brioche donuts during the soft opening.

Flavours are mainly the same as their Fraser Street outpost.

You’ll find flavours like Milky Cream Supreme, Oreo Cream, Strawberry Milkshake, and Matcha Cream, among others.

Each donut is topped with a little garnish that matches the flavor, whether that is a mini Oreo cookie, a dollop of white cream, or a fresh strawberry slice.

They also had a fridge with bottled drinks visible behind the counter, and the full coffee and bakery menu appears to be up and running.

The space was already drawing in customers on what looked like a casual afternoon, with people seated at the communal tables enjoying donuts and drinks.

It is a solid addition to the West 4th stretch, which already has donut spots like 49th Parallel and Their There nearby.

But Korean-style brioche donuts are a different category entirely.

They are lighter and more dessert-forward than your typical North American donut, with cream fillings that are rich without being too heavy.

If you have ever grabbed a cream bun from a Korean bakery, you will know exactly what to expect here.

Since this is still a soft opening, hours and availability may vary as they settle in.

Goldie’s Kitsilano now joins other recently opened food spots in Vancouver like IMRAN Beef Noodle, Angus T River District, and Cockney Kings Main Street.
