The wait is officially over for Vancouver doughnut lovers.
After months of anticipation and “Coming Soon” signage teasing locals on West Broadway, Krispy Kreme has finally announced when it will unlock its doors.
According to a press release, the doughnut giant’s first-ever location within the city of Vancouver will officially open on Tuesday, December 16th at 7AM.

If you have been following the news, you know this is a big deal!
For years, getting your hands on a box of their signature Original Glazed meant making the long trek out to the Delta production hub.
Now, the brand is planting its flag right at the busy intersection of West Broadway and Cambie Street, taking over the unit beside London Drugs.
Unlike the massive Delta factory store, this new outpost will operate as a cafe-style location.
However, freshness won’t be an issue.

The team has confirmed that the new shop will receive fresh doughnut deliveries from the Delta facility twice a day.
That means your morning coffee run and your afternoon snack will both feature treats that were made that same day.
It is a major win for the neighbourhood, which is already seeing a surge of new food options.
Krispy Kreme Vancouver joins a wave of recent openings in Vancouver, including Big Way Hot Pot in Mount Pleasant, Onigiri-ya Downtown, and No Bad Days Cafe.
