Hey, taco lovers!
Lucky Taco, Kitsilano’s beloved Mexican-style cantina, is spicing things up with its brand new location in the heart of the River District.
It is slated to open its doors next weekend, on February 24, 2024.
Founded by the team at Gooseneck Hospitality (Bells & Whistle and Bufala), Lucky Taco opened up near Kits Beach in 2017 offering delicious tacos and small plates in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
The new outpost will be looking to bring the same fun to the River District.
Expect a similar menu with delicious bites like Baja Pescado, Chicken Tinga, or Crispy Cauliflower tacos, Chicharrones, and Street Corn Cob.
The drink lineup? It’s as impressive as the food.
With a tequila and mezcal library that’s sure to impress, alongside Mexican and local beers, every sip promises a new discovery.
Don’t miss out on their signature cocktails, like the Minty Minty Bang Bang or the Oaxaca Old Fashioned, and of course, the margaritas that have everyone talking.
You’ll find all of these inside the 1,050 sq.ft space, which is filled with a kaleidoscope of colours and a vibrant, joyful design that celebrates Mexican culture.
Lucky Taco joins the growing River District neighbourhood, which now has LOCAL Public Eatery, Boketto Tea Bar, Kokoro Mazesoba, Sushi Mura, and more.
Their sister restaurant, Bufala is also expected to open this year next door to Lucky Taco in River District.
