The wait is finally over Vancouver!
Last month we shared that the most popular bubble tea spot in Richmond, MACU Tea, was gearing up for two new locations in Metro Vancouver.
Well the Downtown Vancouver location is finally ready to soft open!
Founded in 2008, MACU Tea is a leading bubble tea chain in Taiwan, with 330 outlets.
The company focuses on using fresh fruit, natural ingredients, and healthy options, especially in their fruit tea series.
Each cup of tea is freshly made upon order, using seasonal ingredients and adhering to the highest food safety standards.
In 2019, Macu Tea created a new trend in the industry with their “Drinking Dessert” concept, elevating beverages to a dessert-like experience.
MACU Tea opened their first BC location in Richmond and went viral for their delicious fresh mango drinks last year.
They continue to see massive lines at their Richmond outpost when it is mango season.
The Vancouver MACU Tea will be opening along Robson Street, right beside Ramen Danbo.
They are taking over the previous unit occupied by the plant-based hot dog shop called Good Dogs, which shuttered a couple of months ago.
The team shared with Noms Magazine that the Vancouver location will be soft opening this Thursday, June 13th.
Although there is no promo for their soft opening, they will be having a BOGO promo for their official grand opening once all the operations are ironed out.
Their Burnaby location is also set to open later this Summer.
Seeing how large the line is at Richmond, we expect a line at this location as well.
Overall this is good news for locals who won’t have to travel all the way to Richmond for their MACU Tea fix.
