If you grew up with Goldilocks in your family’s rotation, this one lands like a tiny heartbreak.
The Main Street shop has officially announced its final days.
After 18 years in Mount Pleasant, the Filipino bakery staple confirmed they will be closing the location this coming spring.

According to their latest update, you have until March 15, 2026, to visit the shop and grab your last-minute cakes and merienda snacks.
While they are leaving the neighborhood, the brand isn’t disappearing.
They confirmed that their Burnaby location on North Fraser Way will remain open as usual.
The team also hinted at a new location coming soon, though the specific address hasn’t been dropped just yet.
In the meantime, they are planning to go out with a bit of a bang.
They will be hosting pop-ups and special events, including a “Goodie Fight” on January 23, 2026, as part of Dine Out Vancouver’s Tasty Events series.

Either way, Goldilocks moving is not just another cafe shuffle.
This brand carries real legacy, starting in the 1960s and growing into a Filipino bakery cafe chain that has expanded around the world.
In Vancouver, it has its own long timeline, too.
Goldilocks first opened locally back in 1984, and the Main Street location has been part of the neighbourhood for 18 sweet years.
That staying power is the clout.

Goldilocks ends up attached to people’s milestones, from birthdays to graduations.
The one cool thing is how it does both worlds in one stop.

You can walk in for celebration-ready cakes and classic Filipino pastries, then leave with something that feels like a proper meal plan, depending on what the shop is serving that day.
Until Goldilocks announces the next address, this spot will be around until March 2026.
