As the economic climate continues to wreck havoc on Vancouver’s food scene, another food joint is lost.
We recently spotted Main Street’s Alphabet City and its neighbour, Bing Taco, who share the same building have their windows all covered up.
And since we’ve spotted their unit up for sale on an agent’s profile, all things lead to the spot being permanently closed.
Alphabet City opened back in 2019 and was known for its fun and colourful ambiance. It was also a regular spot for sports lovers and for drinks.
Beside them, Bing Taco offered Mexican bites like seven taco combinations, overloaded burritos and hand-crafted bowls.
The sudden closure of these two establishments may be a shock to locals as there were no closure notices on their social media accounts or Google business listings
The last Instagram post from Alphabet City was March 10th and their official website appears to be offline now.
From what we’ve heard, the unit has been sold so it may be soon we will know what will be taking over.
Alphabet City and Bing Taco will now join The Arbor as the most recent closures along Main Street.
