There is no doubt that MACU Tea is the most popular spot in Richmond.
Its MASSIVE lines when their fresh mango drinks are available is a testament to that.
Last month we shared that the popular Taiwanese bubble tea chain is gearing up for 2 new locations in Metro Vancouver: 1 in Downtown and 1 in Burnaby.
The Burnaby location has been shrouded with mystery as they were only able to say it would be “along Kingsway”.
Well, after some time, MACU Tea team has budged.
According to the individual who is running the MACU Tea BC Instagram, they shared with Noms Magazine that the Burnaby location will be located in the Old Orchard Shopping Centre.
Although they didn’t say the exact unit, our guess is that they’ll be taking over the previous Bobami location, who closed in late May.
This means that you’ll be soon able to enjoy their uber popular fresh fruit “drinking desserts” (it is what they call them) after some hot pot at ChoCho, Big Way or Korean BBQ at the upcoming Galbi restaurant.
That being said, there is yet to be an opening date for the Burnaby location.
The team was only able to share that it is slated to open this summer.
But we’ll keep you up to date when we get more information.
