Udon lovers!
After 2 weeks of long lines out the door during their opening, Marugame Udon’s first Canadian location in Downtown Vancouver will be grand opening with a bang!
The event on March 15th, from 10:45 a.m. to noon, will be a mixture of flavours and fun.
The Marugame Matsuri, translating to Marugame Festival, will be a cultural spectacle.
Matsuris are at the heart of Japanese culture, known for uniting communities through joyous celebrations of shared traditions.
The Marugame Matsuri will be to thank the incredible warmth and support showered upon the brand’s first Canadian outpost by Vancouverites.
The first 100 guests?
They hit the jackpot with a complimentary bowl of Marugame’s signature Sanuki-style udon of their choice.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Live Taiko drumming, special guests, and the chance to dive deep into the soul of Japanese cuisine make this an event you won’t want to miss.
Special guests include Victor Hisao Misawa, President of Marugame Udon International, along with other representatives like Consul General Keiji Hisata from the Embassy of Japan, who will be there to share this momentous occasion with the community.
So mark your calendars and be ready to line up early for this festival!
