Canadian fans have been asking for it since March, and now it is officially on the way.
McDonald’s Canada announced that the KPop Demon Hunters meals will launch across Canada on May 12, over a month after the U.S. got them first.
The collab is tied to the popular Netflix animated series KPop Demon Hunters, which follows a South Korean girl group called HUNTR/X that battles demons with music.
Their rivals, a demon-filled boy band called the Saja Boys, try to get in their way.
McDonald’s turned that rivalry into two separate meals, and fans are being asked to pick a side.

The HUNTR/X Meal comes with 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium drink, and three limited-time additions: Ramyeon McShaker Fries, Hunter Sauce, and Demon Sauce.
- The McShaker Fries have a soy, garlic, sesame, and spice seasoning inspired by the show.
- Hunter Sauce is a sweet chili sauce with garlic and pepper.
- Demon Sauce is a bold purple mustard sauce with heat and tang.

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal includes a Spicy Saja McMuffin with egg and peppery sauce, hash browns, and a small drink.
It is only available during breakfast hours.
There is also the Derpy McFlurry, inspired by the Derpy Tiger character from the series.

It blends vanilla soft serve with blackberry popping pearls and wild berry sauce.
If you have never had popping boba in a McFlurry before, this is a first for McDonald’s.
Every meal comes with a collectible photocard, either HUNTR/X or Saja Boys themed.
Each meal also includes a Derpy access card with a QR code that unlocks exclusive content through the McDonald’s app, including the reveal of the Battle for the Fans winner.

The U.S. launch on March 31 generated massive buzz, and Canadian fans flooded the comments on social media asking when they would get their turn.
McDonald’s Canada responded on Instagram with a teaser post and the caption: “u asked, we listened. the battle for the fans is coming to Canada 05.12.”
The post already has thousands of likes and comments from excited fans.
Canadian pricing has not been confirmed yet.
The promotion is expected to be available for a limited time at participating locations.
For those keeping score, this is the latest in a series of high-profile McDonald’s collabs, but the Netflix tie-in and K-pop angle make this one stand out.
If you are a fan of the show or just curious about purple mustard sauce, mark May 12 on your calendar.
