Can you believe itโ€™s already been 9 years since Mister first turned heads with its liquid nitrogen ice cream in Yaletown?

To mark the milestone, Mister has teamed up with the popular Paragon Tea Room for a limited-time Matcha Party, featuring 4 new ceremonial-grade matcha treats available from July 5 to August 5.

If youโ€™ve been following Vancouverโ€™s dessert scene, you know this isnโ€™t the first time these two local brands have joined forces.

Their collab first began back in 2023 when Mister supplied matcha ice cream to Paragonโ€™s YVR Airport cafe, and the partnership has only deepened since.

Now, theyโ€™re bringing their matcha magic downtown for a full-on summer celebration.

And they’re doing so with a flavour that the world has been going gaga over – matcha.

The anniversary menu is headlined by the Paragon Matcha Ice Cream – a rich, velvety scoop made with premium ceremonial matcha, available in a cup or cone exclusively at Misterโ€™s Robson Street flagship store.

Also on the menu is a Dipped Matcha Bar, a no-fuss ice cream bar coated in matcha chocolate that delivers a concentrated hit of bold green tea flavour.

If you want something sippable, the Matcha Tea Latte Float blends oat milk tea latte with a hefty scoop of matcha ice cream for a drink-dessert hybrid thatโ€™s as photogenic as it is refreshing.

But the standout gotta be the Matcha Mango Sticky Rice Affogato, a cross-cultural stunner that pairs coconut sticky rice, mango vegan ice cream, and a ceremonial matcha shot poured over like an espresso.

Itโ€™s the kind of mashup that their anniversary deserves.

Every item on the menu features ceremonial matcha sourced from Kakegawa, Shizuoka, Japan, a region known for its centuries-old farming traditions and commitment to preserving biodiversity.

โ€œThe Matcha Party is a special way to mark nine years of Mister and our passion for crafting desserts that inspire joy and connection,โ€ said Mister co-owner Michael Lai.

This matcha menu is available at Misterโ€™s Robson location and Paragon Tea Room at CF Pacific Centre, though the Paragon Matcha Ice Cream is only sold at Mister.

So if youโ€™re a matcha fan or a long-time Mister loyalist, this oneโ€™s for you.
