Richmondโs famed food street is getting another addition this fall.
Signage has gone up for a new bakery called Savor Hill, spotted undergoing renovations beside Tang Vietnamese Restaurant on Alexandra Road.

The new storefront completely took over a former wedding shop and has been gutted from the inside out, now showing signs of life as a future cafรฉ-bakery concept.
But what exactly is Savor Hill?
Thatโs still mostly a mystery.
When we walked by, the staff inside werenโt keen to share many details, only saying that the bakery would be offering Asian-style cakes.
The window signage does offer a tiny peek into whatโs coming.
Printed across the glass are Chinese characters that roughly translate to “freshly baked daily,” suggesting that this will be a spot for warm, out-of-the-oven goods on the regular.
A sharp-eyed Noms Magazine community member (alannnblu) dug a little deeper and found the brand identity agency linked to Savor Hill.
According to the agencyโs portfolio, Savor Hill is described as a milk tea and Asian bakery store, signalling the spot may include drinks alongside their baked offerings.
While thereโs still no official online presence or launch announcement, the staff shared that theyโre aiming for an opening sometime in September.
Savor Hill will be joining the wave of upcoming food spots arriving in Richmond soon, like Swiss chocolate brand Lรคderach, Hong Phat, and Max’s To Go.
