After nearly a year of renovations and radio silence, Mo-Ment has finally opened its doors in Downtown Vancouver.
Tucked into a stretch of Granville that has seen more than its share of restaurant turnover, this crispy burger specialist shop is the newest player to try its luck.

A Noms Magazine community member (gottahaveeats) tipped us off that the shop had quietly started serving customers in late July, so we popped by anonymously to check things out.
From the outside, the bold red signage still screams fast-casual energy, and the inside doesn’t disappoint.
The space is bright and ultra-modern, with sleek booth seating, stylish black-and-gold chairs, and clean wood accents that bring a polished finish to the room.
You’ll also find two self-ordering kiosks where customers can browse through their menu and submit orders without needing to speak with staff.
And yes, the menu is packed.
Mo-Ment offers not only Chinese-style burgers, but also noodle bowls, skewers, drinks, and full combo sets that let you try both a burger and noodle dish together.
Although those combos looked tempting, we went for a solo classic pork filled burger to let it shine on its own.
The burger itself is a visual standout.
A flaky, golden, spiral-layered bun hugs a generous filling of shredded braised pork mixed with green peppers and subtle seasoning.
The pastry shell is crisp on the outside with a gentle chew, almost like a laminated croissant-meets-flatbread hybrid.
This type of burger, rooted in the traditional Chinese roujiamo, is still not that common in Vancouver, which makes Mo-Ment’s arrival feel fresh and exciting.
Mo-Ment now joins a line up of recently new food spots that has opened in Vancouver like Noople, Nook Coal Harbour, and Keumsan.
