The Costco food court is about to get a little sweeter in Canada.
Costco Canada has officially announced that a new Caramel Brownie Sundae is coming soon to food courts across the country.
The announcement was made on the official Costco Canada Instagram page on March 7, with the caption “The reveal you’ve actually been waiting for.”
The post has already racked up over 10,000 likes.
A few days earlier, Costco Canada posted a teaser with a pixelated image of the sundae, asking fans to guess what was coming.
That post pulled in over hundreds of comments with people calling for everything from chicken bakes to iced coffee.
Now we know the answer.
It is a sundae.
Based on the photo, the Caramel Brownie Sundae appears to feature vanilla soft serve layered with salted caramel sauce and brownie pieces, served in a clear plastic cup.
No price has been confirmed for Canada yet, but for reference, the same sundae launched in the United States back in October 2025 at $2.99.
The comments section on the reveal post tells its own story.
Some fans are excited, while others were hoping for something different.
One popular comment from @costcofindscanada read, “Coffee would have been a dream come true but I’ll accept this one,” and it pulled in over 300 likes.

Others called for the return of chicken wings and the turkey provolone sandwich.
The chicken bake, one of the most requested items in the comments, is a staple at U.S. Costco food courts but has never been available in Canada.
That is actually one of the fun quirks of Costco food courts around the world.
Different countries get different exclusive items.
Canada is the only country where you can get poutine at the Costco food court, served with cheese curds and gravy for $5.99.
Meanwhile, the U.S. gets the chicken bake, and other international locations have their own unique offerings depending on the region.

Of course, the one thing every Costco food court shares is the legendary $1.50 hot dog combo, which has famously stayed the same price since 1985.
No exact rollout date has been given for the Canadian launch. Costco Canada’s post simply says “coming soon.”
It is also worth noting that in the U.S., the Caramel Brownie Sundae was recently replaced by a new Double Chocolate Mint Sundae in February 2026.
Whether Canada will eventually get that version too remains to be seen.
For now, keep an eye on your local Costco food court menu board. The sundae could show up any day.
