New Greek Yogurt Concept Is Taking Over A Former Shortlived Yaletown Bakery

The former Unni Pastries space in Yaletown finally has a new replacement.

We spotted signs up for Meros House of Yogurt, a new concept that is moving into the storefront with a fresh look and a focus on Greek yogurt.

The window wraps are already in place, featuring bright images of citrus, avocado, and stone fruit alongside the tagline “Elevate the In-Between.”

According to its website, Meros will be offering what it calls “Deliciously Healthy Greek Yogurt” when it opens in the neighbourhood.

A job posting for the shop’s store manager role gives a clearer picture of what to expect.

It describes Meros as a brand built around “functional nutrition” and “thoughtfully crafted yogurt bowls” designed to fit into everyday routines.

The posting goes further, stating that the team is “not just opening another yogurt shop” but rather building “a lifestyle brand centered around wellness, vitality, and intentional living.”

That is a big mission statement for a new yogurt spot.

No menu, pricing, or hours have been shared publicly at this point.

Everything about the branding points toward a sit-down or counter-service concept with pre-built bowls.

Rather fitting for the more health-conscious area.

The space at 1207 Hamilton Street previously housed the Yaletown outpost of Unni Pastries, the Korean bakery cafe that closed after roughly two and a half months in the location.

Before that, the unit was home to Grab n Go, which also had a slightly longer run.

Meros now joins a growing list of upcoming food spots that Vancouver is watching, including Eggslut, Hiyori Coffee, and Aura.

We will update this post when more details become available.
