Those looking for a more healthy brunch or meal will be happy to know that there’s a new spot that recently opened in East Vancouver!
Say hello to The Green, a bright and breezy Korean-inspired brunch cafe.
It took over the former Bubble Tea Bluemoon spot next to Doe Coffee on East Hastings.

They soft opened in late March and have now officially grand opened—with a lil’ juice gift to celebrate (more on that in a sec).
Helmed by longtime friends and hospitality vets Daniel Cha (Prev. Fairmont Pacific Rim kitchen) and Rudy Jo (behind a few beloved North Van and Coquitlam restos), The Green is all about nourishing eats, relaxing vibes, and a space that feels like a leafy escape from your 9-to-5 chaos.
For the interior, think calm cafe meets indoor garden.
There’s a glowing neon sign framed by foliage, light wood furniture, and clean white walls with playful art showcasing French toast and fresh bowls.
It’s giving minimal wellness aesthetic—with enough seating to park your laptop or brunch crew comfortably.
Now let’s talk food.
The menu is stacked with variety – without being overwhelming.
You’ll find Korean-inspired spins on brunch classics like: Bulgogi eggs benny, Tipsy pork cream risotto, Spicy pork belly bowls, and more.
There’s also an extensive all-day brunch section, BYO-bowl situation, smoothies, espresso drinks (hello cinnamon einspanner), and veggie-forward salads with sesame or yuzu dressing.
Prices are pretty wallet-friendly, especially for Vancouver.
Bonus: many items are gluten-free, vegan, or customizable for dietary needs, which makes this spot a rare combo of affordable and accommodating.
To celebrate their grand opening, they’re giving away a FREE Welcome Juice to every guest until April 15th.
So yes, that’s your green light to visit.
