The West End just got a new Korean Restaurant Bar, and it’s overlooking English Bay Beach!

One of our community members (lizlimmie) spotted the signs for the spot recently.

Say hello to Horangee Sikdang, also known as Tiger Restaurant.

This “new wave” Korean bistro quietly soft opened recently, offering a modern take on traditional Korean flavours.

Horangee Sikdang first made its debut in Toronto back in 2022, and now, they’re bringing their unique twist to Vancouver.

Taking over the previous Loft Lounge space above the Marble Slab and Vonns, this spot is all about trendy sharable Korean dishes perfect for enjoying with friends over drinks.

Their menu is packed with exciting options like cream albob, bulgogi, mala tteokbokki, potato pancake, donkatsu, and more.

It’s the perfect place to gather, share plates, and enjoy the vibrant flavours of Korean cuisine with a modern twist.

Right now, Horangee Sikdang is serving food only as they await their liquor license approval.

This new addition joins the growing list of Korean spots in the West End, alongside favourites like JINMI and Nom Nom.
