It looks like Richmond’s Korean food scene is getting even more exciting this month.

After spotting signage last month, The Seoulful owner, Haeni Kim, shared with Noms Magazine that they will soft open on November 15.

They are taking over the former iTofu Dessert unit beside Big Way Hot Pot on Alderbridge.

The Seoulful blends the comfort of traditional Korean street food with modern café-style bites.

During the soft opening period, the shop will operate as pickup only, as the dine-in area is still under renovation.

The menu will feature the brand’s signature lineup.

This includes Salt Bread in nine flavours like Classic, Fresh Milk Cream, Dubai Chocolate, Earl Grey, and Matcha.

Kimbap in six varieties, Tteokbokki in three styles (Classic, Cheese, and Creamy Rose), and Sandwiches in two flavours — the Le Seoul Sandwich and Bulgogi Sandwich.

According to Haeni, this initial soft opening phase will run from November through January.

A full renovation and dine-in reopening is planned for April 2026.

Once complete, guests can expect a completely refreshed interior and full-service experience.

This marks a new chapter for the space, which was previously home to iTofu Dessert, a long-running dessert shop that closed in September after operating for 13 years.

The Seoulful now joins a growing list of upcoming Richmond eateries, including Stone & Flow Asian Bistro, Lucky Lily, and Pocorit.
