There’s something new and delicious on Commercial Drive!
Taking over the former Babylon Cafe space at the corner of Il Mercato, TWK officially opened its doors in late October, introducing Vancouver to authentic Lebanese street food.
The new concept comes from Gerard and the team behind Le Parfait in Yaletown.

Gerard shared with Noms Magazine that TWK is the product of three friends from Lebanon, Ziad, Gerard, and Robert, who met in Vancouver and wanted to bring a taste of home to the city.
“Our goal is to make Lebanese street food a beloved part of Vancouver’s culinary scene, celebrated for its authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and vibrant community spirit.”

When asked about why they chose Commercial Drive, Gerard said the team saw it as a perfect fit.
“The Drive is so diverse and well-centered in Metro Vancouver. As a first location, we thought the neighborhood’s mix of cultures and love for good food would match our vision of quick, fresh, and unique bites.”

TWK offers a wide variety of Lebanese dishes, including classic sandwiches like Chicken Tawouk, Beef Shawarma, and Authentic Falafel, alongside platters, salads, bowls, appetizers, and fresh juices.
Their menu highlights Lebanese favorites served in a casual and modern setting, ideal for a quick lunch or a laid-back meal with friends.
TWK now joins the growing list of new Vancouver food spots, including Napoletana Pizza Robson, Fred’s Kitsilano, and Oishinoya Broadway.
