Vancouver Pho Spot Quietly Opens Another Location on Main Street

A familiar name on Main Street just got a little closer to your door.

Pho Goodness has soft opened a new location at 4160 Main Street in Vancouver, right beside Yum Sweet Shop.

The spot is called Pho Goodness Kitchen, and it takes over the space that previously housed Sweet Revenge before it shut down.

This has actually been a long time coming. We remember chatting with the Pho Goodness team back in January 2024 about their expansion plans, so it is nice to finally see the doors open over two years later.

If you have walked past the storefront recently, you will notice the new signage is already up.

There were flowers in the window and an open sign out front when we swung by.

The new location is mainly designed for takeout.

There are only a handful of seats inside, so plan accordingly if you are hoping to dine in.

Most locals already know Pho Goodness from their location further down Main Street at 3079 Main, right across from Street Hawker.

They also have a spot in Davie Village.

This Main Street Kitchen marks their third location in Vancouver.

The menu covers all the Vietnamese comfort food essentials you would expect.

Pho options include rare beef, brisket, rare beef and brisket, grilled chicken, and vegetarian, all priced at $17.

You can also upgrade any pho to their famous spicy peanut sate broth for an extra $2.

That sate broth has been a fan favourite at their other locations.

Banh mi sandwiches start at $10 for chicken or pork. Short ribs banh mi is $14, and there is a betel leaves beef option.

If you are more in the mood for a bowl, they have rice and vermicelli options with grilled chicken, pork, or pork chop, and grilled short ribs.

You can add a spring roll to any bowl for just $1.

There are also salad rolls at $10, crispy spring rolls at $9, and green mango or pomelo salad for $13 with your choice of grilled chicken, tofu, or shrimp.

On the drinks side, there is Vietnamese coffee and Thai iced tea for $6.50 each, a fresh squeezed lime soda for $6.25, and pop for $3.25.

If you swing by soon, there is currently a 15% soft opening discount for in-store orders.

No word yet on how long that deal will last.

The stretch of Main Street around the new location has been seeing a lot of activity lately.

Pho Goodness Kitchen now joins a wave of recently opened food spots in Vancouver, including Mitchie Matcha, Nomad Coffee Kits, and Cream Pony.
