After more than a year of waiting, a familiar Coquitlam pho shop is officially back, this time in a completely new city.
Pho Capital has reopened along Hollybridge Way in Richmond, just steps from the Richmond Olympic Oval.
The restaurant quietly opened its doors on February 7, 2026.

If the name sounds familiar, it should.
We first reported on the move back in October 2025 when signage for Pho Capital was spotted at the unit which previously housed Wonder Cafe.
Pho Capital was a fixture on North Road in Coquitlam for over a decade and was taken over by new management a couple years ago.
The restaurant was forced to close after an explosion ripped through the strip mall it called home, shutting down multiple businesses in the process.
It was a tough break for a spot that had built a loyal following over the years.
Now, the team is starting fresh in Richmond with a spacious new space that looks nothing like the old Coquitlam location.
The interior is bright and open with high ceilings, exposed white ductwork, and track lighting.

The walls are painted white with a warm mustard-yellow lower half, and there are oil paintings of ocean sunsets and mountain landscapes hung throughout the dining room.
Dark wooden tables and chairs fill the room, and there is plenty of space between them.
It is noticeably bigger than what they had in Coquitlam.
The menu covers a lot of ground.
The pho section alone has over a dozen options, including beef noodle soup with various cuts like eye round steak, brisket, beef ball, tendon, and tripe.

There is also a House Special pho that comes loaded with everything.
Beyond beef pho, the menu features chicken noodle soup, grilled chicken pho, and a mixed chicken option.

The hot and spicy soup section includes bun bo Hue with beef shank, pork leg, mushroom meatballs, and fried pork roll, as well as a Hai Phong spicy fish noodle soup and a spicy and sour seafood noodle.
Rice plates include lemongrass chicken, lemongrass pork chops, shaking beef, BBQ short ribs, and spicy fried chicken.

Vermicelli bowls round things out with options like bun dau mam tom and a loaded special with lemongrass chicken, grilled pork, pork patty, and spring roll.
Vegetarian and kid-friendly options are also on the menu.

If you want to check it out soon, the restaurant is currently running a grand opening deal of 10 percent off your order, valid until February 21, 2026.
Pho Capital now joins other recently opened food spots in Richmond like Mino Sushi Conveyor, The Food Court, and Nonbiri Cafe.
