If you’ve been eyeing those self-serve instant noodle shops in Asia…

Well, now you can get a taste of that same experience here in Vancouver.

Hululu opened its doors earlier this June, taking over the previous Blackball dessert unit.

Hululu has a wall of over 25 well-known and rare types of instant noodles from Japan, Korea, Thailand, and other countries in Asia.

Here’s how it works: you order at the self-serve kiosk by picking your noodle, toppings (kimchi, corn, fish cake, etc.)) and protein or veggies (egg, octopus-shaped sausage, etc.); then pick your ramen from the wall.

Bring your receipt to the staff, who will place your ramen in a bowl and add your toppings.

Take your bowl to the self-serve electric stoves like in Asia and wait for it to perfectly cook your ramen.

Their menu also has a variety of bubble tea and side dishes available.

To celebrate their grand opening, you can get 15% off your entire order plus four free toppings until the end of June.

If you’re a fan of instant noodles or looking for a new and unique dining experience, Hululu is the place to be.
