Downtown Vancouver’s West End just scored a sizzling new addition to its food scene.
Burger Zoghali, which first fired up its grills in North Vancouver back in April, has now opened along Denman Street.
They took over the former Gillaneh Grill corner unit.
The chain is known for its charcoal-grilled burgers (“Zoghali” means “charcoal” in Persian) and smash burgers, all built on fresh burger buns from Burnaby’s Valley Bakery.

Just a short walk from English Bay, the new West End spot has a hip, casual vibe that feels tailor-made for beachgoers looking to refuel.
The menu is stacked with hearty options, from single and double smash burgers to loaded creations like the Jalapeño Heat Smash and Persian Smash.
Fans of variety will find Zoghali Burgers featuring tender beef, melty cheese, grilled veggies, and their signature sauces, plus indulgent picks like the Mushroom Zoghali and the all-in-one Royal Zoghali.
If you’re not in the mood for a burger, the specials menu offers comfort classics like roast beef sandwiches, chicken tenders, and the stacked King Royal Sandwich.
Appetizers keep things snackable with old school fries, crispy cauliflower, jalapeño poppers, and saucy wings.
Drinks range from local draft beers to cocktails like the Persian Style with saffron-infused vodka or the rich Dark Passion with chocolate bitters.
Burger Zoghali now joins other recent West End and Downtown openings such as Handson Steak & Frites, Daan Go Vancouver, and Nook Coal Harbour, making the neighbourhood an even bigger draw for food lovers.
