Matcha and hojicha lovers, itโs finally happening!
Paragon Tea Room is making its way back to Cambie Village.
After being forced to close their much-loved Cambie location earlier this year due to building redevelopment, Paragon Tea Room has quietly been working behind the scenes on their next chapter.
And now, Michelle Cheung co-owner of Paragon Tea Room, has confirmed to Noms Magazine that theyโve secured a new spot back in Cambie Village.
Even better?

This isnโt just a short-term pop-up like their current CF Pacific Centre one.
Theyโre taking over the former Xing Fu Tang unit, the bubble tea shop that quietly shut down after a lease termination for failure to pay $34,000 in rent.
Paragon, however, isnโt here for a short stay.
Michelle shared that theyโve locked in a ten-year lease, signaling theyโre putting down roots and planning to stay for the long haul.
Currently, theyโre in the phase of securing renovation permits, but if everything stays on track, the new Cambie Village location is set to open around mid-September.
The new unit will be slightly bigger, about 100 square feet larger, but Michelle says fans can expect a familiar setup: a cozy space with seating, a merch area, and their signature modern aesthetic.
The menu will also stay true to what Vancouverites have come to love.
Expect all the stone-milled matcha, hojicha, and signature teaspresso drinks that Paragon built its name on, along with their popular bubble waffles.
But Michelle teased that the new location will also introduce more pastry items, hinting at an even bigger and better experience for their loyal fans.
Since their original closure, Paragon has been keeping busy with a downtown pop-up at Pacific Centre and their Richmond location, but for many, a permanent return to Cambie feels like a homecoming.
