It looks like there’s a new pizza spot heating up Robson Street.
Earlier this summer, we reported that family-run Napoletana Pizza was opening a new outpost downtown.
The wait is over as its Robson Street location has now soft opened.
The opening comes shortly after the closure of their original Arbutus location, which shut down due to nearby construction.
A longtime staple in Kitsilano, Napoletana Pizza has spent over two decades building up a reputation for Neapolitan-style pizza done with heart and heritage.
With this new launch, Napoletana now operates two locations: one on Fraser Street and this sleek new downtown space.
Stepping inside, the Robson outpost feels warm and contemporary, with a long marble counter showcasing their famous pizza by the slice.
The space features a mix of light wood and gold accents, cozy two-seater tables, and a gleaming gold-tiled pizza oven that immediately draws the eye.
It’s a perfect blend of modern design and Italian comfort, giving off a relaxed yet refined vibe that fits right into the downtown crowd.
The concept here follows Italy’s “Tavola Calda,” or “hot table” tradition, where guests can enjoy ready-to-eat Italian comfort food.
The menu features their signature Neapolitan pizzas baked in a Malagutti Napoli brick oven, creamy pastas like fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti bolognese, and hearty oven-baked Italian wings.
You can also order paninis stuffed with house-made focaccia, salads like caprese or rucola, and even creamy gelato or espresso for dessert.
It’s clear that this spot caters to both the lunch rush and casual evening diners, with options ranging from quick slices to sit-down meals.
Napoletana Pizza Robson now joins other recently opened Vancouver food spots like Fred’s Kitsilano, Oishinoya Broadway, and Aureliana.
