If you have a stash of after-school snacks or late-night bites in your freezer, you are going to want to check them right now.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a national recall warning for certain Pillsbury brand Pizza Pops due to possible E. coli O26 contamination.
This isn’t just a precaution; the recall was triggered by findings during an active investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak.
General Mills Canada is pulling specific batches of the product from the marketplace.
The concern is E. coli O26, a bacteria that can make you seriously sick.

Food contaminated with it may not look or smell spoiled, but it can still carry the bacteria.
The recall covers a wide range of flavours and sizes, including the popular Pepperoni, 3 Cheese, and Deluxe varieties.
