Richmond dessert lovers are in for a sad surprise as we’re adding another spot to the graveyard…

A community member spotted Jack Frost Cafe’s unit, the beloved dessert spot across Richmond Centre, was up for sale.

But that isn’t the end of it.

Their Google Business listing also has the dessert cafe now permanently closed.

Some in the community believe that the shop shut down back in early May though.

Opened in 2018, Jack Frost Cafe was a popular spot for Korean-inspired desserts.

The cafe offered a variety of shaved ice (bingsoo) and was one of the few spots offering Dippin’ Dots.

They created a cozy and inviting space where customers could enjoy unique and refreshing desserts.

Despite its popularity, Jack Frost Cafe’s closure was done with no announcement from the shop.

This leaves fans speculating about what might have led to the decision.

Lease being up? Change of life direction?

Regardless, bingsoo lovers and Dippin’ Dots lovers will have to find another spot in Richmond now, unfortunately.
