Richmond Hotpot Spot Quietly Closes After 4 Years And Beef Noodle Joint To Take Over

Given the current state of the food industry, you may notice many spots are quietly closing their doors as you explore the city.

One we’ve recently spotted undergoing a transition is Lollipot in Richmond.

Opened back in late 2019, Lollipot was a spot for individual hot pots, bubble tea, and bubble waffles.

The spot was located in the same plaza alonside Van Tea Cafe, Manzo, and Prataman. It was a cozy, homey dining experience reminiscent of popular chains like Boiling Point.

Whether it be their Wulao Herbal pot, Korean Army Stew pot, or Tom Yum pot, locals loved Lollipot for its quick service, decent portions and reasonable prices.

But with the economy and increase of options for hot pot in Richmond, it seems Lollipot has decided to bow out.

In its place, signs of a new contender, AYA Beef Noodle House, is taking over.

As of now, AYA Beef Noodle House has yet to establish an online presence or website, so there is no telling what it will bring to the table aside from beef noodles.
