Metro Vancouver has been on an international chain shopping spree, and Richmond is once again the lucky winner.
This time, South Korean coffee giant theVenti is making its Canadian debut right in Richmond.
And from what we gathered, this might be their first international location ever!
We spotted signs for theVenti taking over the former BeauTea unit on the corner of No.3 Rd and Westminster Hwy.

And if you’re into oversized, budget-friendly drinks, this might just become your new go-to.
TheVenti first hit the scene in Busan, South Korea back in March 2014, with a mission to serve solid coffee at reasonable prices.
Fast forward 10 years, and they’ve got around 1,300 franchises across South Korea—clearly, they’re doing something right.
And like every big Asian brand, you gotta have a popular celebrity as their ambassador.
For theVenti, it’s currently Dex, who was on Netflix’s Singles Inferno.
Their menu is stacked with a massive variety of drinks, from classic coffee to ice-blended creations like mint chocolate chip frappes and mango yogurt smoothies.
They also offer juices, ades, bubble teas, and specialty drinks, including matcha einspanners, sweet potato lattes, and black sugar bubble tea.
On the menu is also pastries—think white chocolate matcha cookies, strawberry cream croffles, and red bean cream buns.
Surprisingly, the menu on their official website also has items for pets – and it isn’t your usual pup cup. We’re talking bout pure tuna sticks, goat milk sticks, and horse meat duck.
From what we gathered, expect a hip interior with lots of purple, just like their South Korean locations.
When we asked a few Korean friends about it, they instantly recognized theVenti, though they did mention that since it’s positioned as a low-price coffee chain, you probably shouldn’t expect any life-changing brews.
But hey—affordable caffeine is always a win.
The good news is that Richmond is getting something a little different and not just another bubble tea chain making its way here.
It’ll be interesting to see how the city embraces it.
According to the signage, theVenti is set to open this March.
