Burrito fans, get ready, Chipotle is officially coming to Davie Street.

We spotted signage for Chipotle Mexican Grill along Davie Street, marking the chain’s newest addition to downtown Vancouver.

The upcoming restaurant will take over the former Abasa Optical unit right beside The Basic restaurant.

Once open, this will be Chipotle’s third downtown Vancouver location.

The brand, known for its build-your-own burrito and bowl setup, already has fans across the city who love its quick, filling, and customizable meals.

Chipotle, which started in the U.S., has built its reputation around simple, responsibly sourced ingredients.

Their approach focuses on real food made with real ingredients: no mystery additives, no shortcuts.

They were one of the first national restaurant chains to commit to local and organic produce and only use meat raised under high animal welfare standards.

Chipotle emphasizes their “real is better” philosophy, saying it’s better for you, better for people, and better for the planet.

If you’ve visited their other Vancouver locations, you probably know what to expect: hearty bowls loaded with your choice of rice, beans, protein, and fresh toppings.

No opening date has been announced yet, but with construction well underway, it seems the wait won’t be long.

This Davie Village opening joins other soon-to-open spots around the city, including Celeste, Amber, and Jeju Restaurant.
