For those who have been craving authentic Cantonese BBQ without the trek to Richmond or Downtown Vancouver, we’ve got some good news.
A Noms Magazine community member and Real Estate Agent, Cambie Corridor, recently tipped us off that a Richmond BBQ brand is expanding into Vancouver.
BBQ & Co has put up signage in Cambie Village, taking over the unit formerly occupied by the robotic kitchen concept, Chef Wobot, right in the same plaza to the beloved Shiro Japanese Restaurant.

If the name sounds vaguely familiar, it is because they have been quietly building a reputation in Richmond.
BBQ & Co got its start back in 2025, operating out of MOD Kitchen, a commercial kitchen facility in Richmond that houses various brands.
After proving their concept there, this move marks their very first standalone outpost in Vancouver.
The brand describes its offerings as a tribute to classic roasting techniques, focusing on the “Holy Trinity” of Cantonese BBQ.

The window decals at the new shop proudly advertise their signature items: Signature BBQ Pork (Char Siu), Slow-Cooked Boneless Soy Sauce Chicken, and Hong Kong-Style Crispy Roast Duck.

While their Richmond location was mainly for takeout and delivery, the new Cambie Street spot looks to offer a bit more.
Judging by the size of the unit, it is likely there will be a few tables for customers to dine in and enjoy their roast meats on the spot.
The brand hasn’t dropped an official opening date just yet, but given that the signage is already up, a launch this Winter seems highly likely.
BBQ & Co joins a flurry of new food activity in the city, sitting alongside other upcoming spots like Cozy Wok, LOCAL Pizza, and the third Big Way Hot Pot on Robson.
Address: 3088 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC
