South Granville just got a bit more exciting with the opening of Fable Café on Oct. 18th!
Located right inside Fable’s new South Granville retail store, this is not just any café—it’s a bold step forward in how we think about enjoying a cup of coffee.
Fable, known for its responsibly crafted premium tableware, has brought its ethos to its new café, focusing on sustainability and fair treatment for everyone involved.
At Fable Café, they’ve built a space where employees thrive with a living wage and no tipping required.
This approach is quite timely considering the ongoing discourse around how wild tip culture has become.
The menu keeps it simple yet classic, featuring all your usual caffeine suspects like Espresso, Cortado, Flat White, and Matcha Latte.

If you are looking for a non-dairy alternative for your latte, they’ve got it, and for no extra charge too!
From our research, they’re using beans from Timbertrain and matcha from a new local brand called Emeri.
You’ll also find pour-overs, teas, iced drinks, and an assortment of fresh pastries like banana bread and garlic knots.
Even though there is no tip and the staff are paid a living wage, the prices of the drinks are actually on par with other spots.
And if you use promo code ‘BREWTIFUL’, you can snag a free coffee when you order ahead through their new Fable Cafe app until the end of October.
The new café’s interior is designed to foster a welcoming environment where you can sip on a latte while browsing Fable’s premium dinnerware.
Or you can take a seat at its communal table, loungey solo sofas, or window side bench.
One interesting aspect is these unique reusable clay cups, offering a sustainable alternative to single-use disposables.
Crafted with just clay, water, and salt, these cups can be reused multiple times and, once broken, naturally disintegrate without contributing to plastic or paper waste—a perfect example of Fable’s dedication to being a zero-waste company.
So if you’re in South Granville, swing by for some freshly brewed coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and a chance to support a brand that puts people—and the planet—first.
