It looks like Kingsway is getting a new bubble tea shop!
We spotted signage revealing that Chun Fun How is set to open a new location along Kingsway, taking over the former Truedan unit.
This will mark the brand’s third Metro Vancouver outpost.
Chun Fun How first landed in Canada with a storefront on West Broadway back in 2020, followed by a Richmond location in 2022.
The Taiwanese bubble tea chain is known not only for its floral cups and artistic packaging but also for its use of premium ingredients imported straight from Taiwan.
The brand has a heartfelt origin story that dates back to 2013.
Founded by a couple born in the Year of the Horse, Chun Fun How began with a simple mission: to create the perfect drink with sincerity and passion.
The name itself is a tribute to the founder’s father, reflecting a blend of tradition, emotion, and innovation.
As for the drinks, expect a creative mix of both fruity and milk-based options.
Past menus have included standout offerings like Lychee Jade Tea with Aloe, Roasted Hazelnut Milk Tea, Wintermelon Pearl Lemonade, and even a non-alcoholic Whiskey Milk Tea.
Each drink is crafted with a signature style that mirrors the brand’s philosophy of combining elegance with simplicity.
The upcoming Kingsway location is still under renovation and has yet to be officially announced on Chun Fun How’s local social media channels.
But judging by its previous shop designs, we can likely expect a clean, curated space that highlights the same eye-catching cups the brand is loved for.
Chun Fun How Kingsway now joins a list of upcoming Vancouver food spots like SYU Kitsilano, Cha Tra Mue, and Pho 37 Commercial Drive.
