Chun Fun How’s Kingsway location has officially opened its doors, adding another Taiwanese bubble tea option to one of Vancouver’s busiest stretches.
Back in August, we reported that signage had gone up at the former Truedan unit, teasing the chain’s arrival.
Now, earlier this September, the spot quietly soft opened and just celebrated their grand opening.
For those unfamiliar, Chun Fun How first landed in Vancouver on West Broadway in 2020, followed by a Richmond location in 2022.
Known for its floral-patterned cups and artistic packaging, the Taiwanese brand also prides itself on using premium ingredients imported straight from Taiwan.
The company’s story goes back to 2013, when it was founded by a couple born in the Year of the Horse.
Its name, a tribute to the founder’s father, reflects a philosophy of sincerity, tradition, and passion that’s carried into every drink.
On the Kingsway menu, you’ll find the familiar mix of fruity teas and rich milk-based creations, ranging from Lychee Jade Tea with Aloe to Osmanthus Oolong Tea and Tofu Pudding Black Milk Tea.
Seasonal and creative drinks, like Grapefruit Lychee Green Tea or Roasted Chocolate Fresh Milk Tea, add to the appeal.
This new outpost also offers something extra: taiyaki filled with custard, giving customers the chance to pair their drinks with a warm, sweet snack.
The Kingsway space mirrors the brand’s signature curated vibe, complete with its elegant cups that continue to be a big draw for bubble tea lovers.
This now marks the brand’s third location in Metro Vancouver.
Chun Fun How now joins other recent Vancouver openings like Pho 37 on Commercial Drive, theVenti Downtown, and modern Korean restaurant Jeon.
