Big news for food lovers in Burnaby!
T&T Supermarket, Canada’s largest Asian grocery chain, is set to open a brand new location in summer 2025.
And it’s not just any store—it’s a HUGE 55,000 sq. ft of foodie heaven, located at Gilmore Place.
This second Burnaby store, following their popular Metrotown location, is a strategic move.
It sits right at the bustling intersection of Trans-Canada Highway No. 1 and Lougheed Highway.
Plus, it’s a skip away from the Gilmore SkyTrain Station, making it super easy to pop in for some shopping.
The folks at T&T are thrilled about the expansion. “Our Metrotown store is always packed on weekends. This new location lets us serve our customers even better,” said Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarket.
They’re all about bringing more of their fantastic range of Asian groceries and fresh food closer to more people.
Here’s the scoop on what you’ll find: all the T&T favourites are on board.
Think vibrant Asian snacks, fresh produce, a live seafood counter, and an in-house bakery.
And similar to the Lansdowne outpost, street food offerings like Chinese crepe and sticky rice wraps will be available.
The new store is part of a larger development by ONNI Group, which promises to be quite the hotspot with its mix of retail shops, restaurants, and what will be B.C.’s tallest residential tower.
The new T&T at Gilmore Place is an exciting addition to the growing Brentwood area.
