West Broadway just got a little sweeter!
Back in February we shared that we spotted The Pie Hole, known for its heavenly handmade pies, was relocating its Kitsilano location to Greektown.
Well the wait is over as the new location has recently opened on April 21st to the public!
They took over the space that formerly housed Fresh Ideas Start Here.
The Pie Hole started as Jenell Parsons’ brainchild in 2011, sprouting from farmers’ markets and food truck rallies.
By 2017, Jenell’s dreams were baked into reality, with her first brick-and-mortar store paving the way for rapid expansion across Vancouver
This growth was only a slice of Jenell’s pie achievements, as she authored the best-selling book “You Wanna Piece of Me?” in 2020, earning her the sweet title of Canada’s Pie Queen.
Locals can’t get enough of her pies, which use local, produce, dairy, and free range eggs whenever possible!
Despite the lease termination of the previous Kitsilano outpost (Purebread to take over), Jenell’s spirit remains unshaken.
The new Greektown store sports a vibrant and nostalgic decor that will be familiar to Pie Hole fans.
You’ll also find a giant “EAT PIE” sign inside, cheekly guiding you to their display of pies.
So if you’re in Greektown and looking for a sweet or savoury treat, the new Pie Hole will have exactly what you’re looking for.
