Lucky Lily is touching down at YVR.
The new Asian brasserie from Top Chef Canada, All‑Stars winner Nicole Gomes, is slated to open post‑security in the Domestic Terminal, near Gate C46, in 2026.
YVR also confirmed the news on Instagram, saying, “We’re feeling Lucky to have @chefngomes become a part of our culinary journey at YVR!”
Built for dine‑in and grab‑and‑go, it aims to make pre‑flight meals feel like an actual choice, not a compromise.
Chef Nicole Gomes is known for comforting flavours and playful menus.
Raised in Richmond, she trained at Dubrulle culinary school and cooked from Vancouver to Paris (and even on a naval base in Sydney) before launching her own ventures.
She co‑founded Calgary’s Cluck N Cleaver with her sister Francine, famous for from‑scratch fried and rotisserie chicken, and previously ran the catering company Nicole Gourmet.
On screen, she became the first woman to win Top Chef Canada by taking the 2017 All‑Stars title, later competing on Top Chef: World All‑Stars (2023), with appearances that include Beat Bobby Flay, Iron Chef Gauntlet, and judging on Fire Masters.

Lucky Lily looks like the next step in that groove, bringing chef‑driven comfort to one of the airport’s busiest corridors, right where travelers usually settle for the fastest option.
Menu details are TBA, but the ‘Asian brasserie’ tag suggests street-food-inspired bites.
Expect food that moves quickly without losing soul, good for a quick solo stop, a linger‑and‑sip layover, or a celebratory first drink before boarding.
YVR keeps leaning into the city’s dining identity, stacking names locals like Lee’s Donuts, Purebread, Triple O’s, and more.
Lucky Lily adds a chef‑led anchor to that mix, which makes checking in early sound smart.
It joins the list of opening‑soon spots in Vancouver alongside Amber Lounge, Celeste Smoothie Café, and Happy Sushi, returning to Vancouver.
