Popular Annual Vancouver Croissant Crawl Returns With More Vendors & Longer Duration

Croissant lovers, it’s your time to shine!

The Vancouver Croissant Crawl is back for its third year, but its bigger and better than ever before.

Running from November 1 to 21, this flaky extravaganza is all about discovering limited-edition croissant flavours across Metro Vancouver.

This year features 35 participating vendors and has expanded to cover even more ground, including Burnaby, Richmond, and Surrey for the first time.

It’s also extended to a full three weeks, giving you extra time to get your hands on all the unique creations.

Laura Wong-Thompson, the host of the Croissant Crawl, shared with Noms Magazine that she started the event in 2021 to make new friends and find her go-to croissant.

“I saw how many bakeries there were to explore, and I invited a few others to join me. We had fun chatting and walking from one bakery to the next, and it really felt like something that could be brought to life in a bigger way for more to enjoy together,” she stated.

Laura loves how the event allows bakeries to showcase their talent while encouraging friends, families, and couples to create special memories.

Some of the standout offerings this year include Broyé Cafe & Bakery’s Salted Cream Coffee Moissant, a mochi croissant filled with salted cream coffee inspired by the Vietnamese salted coffee that’s been making waves.

Durian fans can also try Broyé’s Lush Durian Moissant, packed with luscious durian cream for a chewy, bold flavor.

For something sweet and nostalgic, Cadeaux Bakery is serving up a Sweet Potato Pie Twice Baked Croissant that blends savory sweet potato pie filling with almond frangipane and housemade marshmallow, topped with a caramelized pie crust layer.

This year, Laura’s favourites include the Supreme CINNAMOROLL Croissant from Broyé Cafe & Bakery, which she plans to share with her daughter, and L’Atelier Patisserie’s Movie Night Croissant—a perfect choice for a date with her husband.

Just remember—quantities are limited, so you’ll likely want to pre-order to ensure the special item is available for you.

Croissant fans can also participate by voting for the “Fan Favourite Flavour” and joining a photo scavenger hunt with a chance to win some prizes.

So, if you’re looking for a delicious way to support local bakeries and explore the city, the Vancouver Croissant Crawl is the perfect excuse to grab your crew and embark on a buttery adventure.

Don’t forget to vote for your favourite croissant, snap some pictures for the scavenger hunt, and make sure to pre-order if you want to secure those flaky bites of heaven!
