Another spot has quietly closed its doors in Vancouver.
Nine Dumplings, the family-run stall tucked inside the City Square food court at Cambie and Broadway, has shut down.
A Noms Mag community member (@estherysli) tipped us off about the closure, and a new ramen brand had already taken over the space.

Some might recognize the name.
Nine Dumplings had multiple locations before moving to its now hidden Robson Public Market location.
It earned multiple awards over the years and is most known for its handmade dumpling sampler, which included nine different dumplings, each in distinct colours and fillings like pork and cabbage, pork and kimchi, vegan, and scallop and fish.
The stall expanded to City Square in 2024, bringing the same beloved dumplings and samplers to a new pocket of Vancouver.
For locals who worked or lived near the Cambie and Broadway intersection, it was a convenient and affordable stop for a quick bite.
On Google, the location is still marked as temporarily closed, but the shutdown is permanent as a new ramen brand called Kojima has just taken over.
This closure adds to the growing list of Vancouver food spots that have recently shut down, including The Greek Broadway, Lombardoโs Pizzeria, and Mr. Red Cafe.
