Looks like there’s a big switch-up happening on Main Street.
The Juice Truck, one of Vancouverโs original cold-pressed juice pioneers, has announced theyโll be closing their longtime Main Street cafe.
But itโs not the end of the road and more of a transformation.
In an August 10 Instagram post, the Juice Truck team shared, โNow, itโs time for this chapter on Main Street to come to a closeโฆ but only because an exciting new one is beginning!โ
The Main Street location will soon reopen as a new outpost of Body Energy Club, a familiar local brand and longtime collaborator of The Juice Truck.
In fact, theyโve been working together behind the scenes for over a decade through private label partnerships.
The Juice Truck took over the former Juicery Co. unit years ago, building it into more than just a smoothie bar.
It became a Main Street staple, a wellness hub that hosted pop-ups, markets, and countless community moments.
In their farewell message, the team expressed deep gratitude to the neighbourhood, saying, โTo everyone whoโs walked through these doors: thank you for being part of our story and helping us live our juicing dream.โ
Their last day on Main Street will be August 14.
But fans can still sip on Juice Truck products at over 200 cafes, grocers, and markets across BC, and at their five other cafรฉ locations around the city.
As for whatโs next, the brand says their wholesale juice program is booming, and hinted that we might see โnew store concepts or fresh looksโ from them in the near future.
Once Body Energy Club officially opens in the space, you can expect their classic lineup of acai bowls, smoothies, supplements, and more – along with Juice Truckโs bottled juices still on the shelves.
